Week 1 of Ironman Training (34 weeks to go!)

Training for Week 1 (34 weeks to go) - December 3rd - 9th.

I decided to try the 'Be Iron Fit' training plan again (well, going to try - my workouts seem to get all rearranged each week depending on work/kids, etc).  I am doing the first 4 weeks of training before the plan starts at 30 weeks.  So I am doing a 34 week countdown. Although, my running will be different as I am training for Napa Valley Marathon.

Can't wait to run this one!

I feel more prepared for this round of training based on everything I learned in 2012.  I now have my trainer set up in the garage and my husband is getting a new TV set up with DirectTV (and possibly an AppleTV) for X-mas!  I will be able to watch all my shows willing riding.  It makes the training rides go so much faster:).

Here is what it looks like now.  Plus we're going to move our weights down to the garage and get a bench.   Pretty excited.

Here is my training for last week - 

Monday - Swam for about 35 mins.

Tuesday - Ran 5 miles - Zone 2

Wednesday - Brick - 30 min training ride, 2 mile run

Thursday - 45 min trainer ride, 25 mins strength

Friday - 6.31 mile run

Sat - REST

Sun - 11 mile run

Total - 6 hours of training

I had 6 AM meeting everyday except Monday, so it was hard to get that second swim inI usually swim in the mornings from 5:30 AM to 6:30 or so Need to schedule time during the day to get it in if I keep on having 6 AM meetings every morning.
